The upcoming Redmi Note 13 Turbo is expected to be the most powerful phone in the series as it will feature the latest Snapdragon 8-series chipset.

Redmi Note 13 Turbo: The Most Powerful Phone in the Series

In March 2023, Redmi introduced the Redmi Note 12 Turbo with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset in China. A rebranded version of this phone, named the Poco F5, was launched for the global market in May 2023. According to reports, the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Turbo, which will be a China-exclusive phone, is rumored to be repackaged as the Poco F6 in the global market.

Qualcomm’s Upcoming Chipsets for 2023

Qualcomm is expected to announce its next-generation chipsets, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, on March 18, 2023, in China. The US-based chip maker is also expected to reveal the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, an underclocked version of the rumored Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, in the coming days.

Initially, reports suggested that the Note 13 Turbo might use the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 due to the Note 12 Turbo’s usage of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. However, a leak by tipster Smart Pikachu reveals that the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will indeed be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. As shown in the image, the leaker also claimed that Redmi’s new tablet is on the horizon. It remains to be seen whether the Note 13 Turbo and the new tablet make their debut together in April.

Global Debut of Redmi Note 13 Turbo as Poco F6

Given that the Note 13 Turbo is said to come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, its global counterpart, the Poco F6, may also feature the same chipset. The Poco F6 is likely to be unveiled in April or May on the global market, making it a strong competitor against other Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 phones such as the iQOO Z9 Turbo and Realme GT Neo 6 in the Chinese market.
