Title: Vivo’s Upcoming X Fold 3 Series: Thinnest and Lightest Flagship Foldable Devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Zeiss T\* Lenses, and Long-Lasting Blue Ocean Battery
Vivo, a leading smartphone manufacturer, is set to launch its new X Fold 3 series soon. The upcoming lineup will consist of two models: the vanilla Vivo X Fold 3 and a more advanced X Fold 3 Pro. Recently, there was a press leak that unveiled some camera details of the X Fold 3 Pro. Now, Jia Jingdong, Vice President of Vivo, has shared additional information about the X Fold 3 series and revealed what the X Fold 3 Pro looks like.
In a post on Weibo, Jia Jingdong announced that the X Fold 3 series will be the “thinnest and lightest” flagship foldable devices yet. These foldables will not only be compact but also quite powerful, as they will come equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. To give a sneak peek of what’s to come, Jia also shared three product images that appear to be the X Fold 3 Pro.
Camera Samples and Imaging Capabilities
In addition to the camera samples of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro that were previously leaked, Jia has also shared some details about the device’s imaging capabilities. The foldable will feature a large 8.03-inch Samsung E7 screen and inherit the superior imaging capabilities of Vivo’s X100 series. This means that the X Fold 3 Pro will be equipped with Zeiss T\* lenses, a 50-million-pixel primary camera, and Vivo’s V3 imaging chip.
Durability and Certifications
The X Fold 3 Pro will not only be powerful but also quite tough. It will come with an “Armor Feather” body structure, a design specifically for foldables, which has earned it the world’s first foldable SGS five-star anti-drop certification. Furthermore, this foldable will be IPX8 water-resistant, ensuring that it can withstand various environmental conditions.
Long-Lasting Blue Ocean Battery and ai Integration
Another significant feature of the X Fold 3 series is their “Blue Ocean” battery system. This advanced battery technology aims to tackle the issue of battery life, promising long-lasting performance even under extreme conditions. Lastly, Vivo’s “Blue Heart” ai model will be integrated into these upcoming foldables to enhance the overall user experience.
Key Details Still Unknown
Although Jia has shared some exciting information about the X Fold 3 series, there are still many key details that are yet to be revealed. The exact launch date and pricing information for both models have not been announced yet. Stay tuned for more updates on Vivo’s latest innovations in the world of foldable technology.
