Today, Xiaomi held a launch event in China where they introduced their latest offering, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro. In addition to this new device, the company also announced upcoming software updates for the Xiaomi 14 series and Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
Software Updates: Master Portrait Mode for Xiaomi 14 Series and Xiaomi 13 Ultra
Xiaomi has revealed that starting from April, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro users will receive the “Master Portrait” feature. This advanced portrait mode, which was initially unveiled on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, utilizes an ai portrait large model named Xiaomi Portrait LM. Some of its features include functions like ai wrinkle removal, skin tone evening, and teeth and eye enhancement. Furthermore, it supports high-resolution recording with 4K 60fps continuous zoom, full-range 8K 30fps video recording, and 4K 120fps high frame rate slow motion. By June, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will also receive this software update.
ai Image Semantic Processor (AISP) coming in June
Xiaomi has announced another significant software update, Xiaomi AISP (Xiaomi ai Image Semantic Processor), arriving in June. This cutting-edge technology is touted as the first ai large model computational photography platform, integrating the processing power of CPU, GPU, NPU, and ISP. It reaches up to 60TOPS, allowing for features like ULTRA RAW super negative, which offers high color depth and dynamic range, and is compatible with professional editing software. AISP also boasts a ULTRA SNAP function that captures 150 photos using advanced algorithms.
New Features of Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro: Leica Triple Camera System, Light Fusion 800 Sensor, and ai Image Semantic Processor (AISP) Integration
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is equipped with a Leica triple camera system and a custom-made Light Fusion 800 sensor. This device also benefits from the integration of Xiaomi AISP (Imaging Brain 3.0). The combination increases overall computing power by 69% and enables faster continuous shooting. Xiaomi AISP on the Civi 4 Pro includes a new ai GAN beauty algorithm, which promises natural-looking beauty effects tailored to individual facial features. Additionally, this phone offers flagship-level video capabilities, including 4K 60fps recording with features like HDR, autofocus, and beauty mode.
