Oppo Find X7 Ultra Gets a Major Camera Boost
The
Oppo Find X7 Ultra
has received update 14.0.1.501, introducing exciting new camera features. The highlight is undoubtedly the 50MP RAW MAX format. Popular among photography enthusiasts, this format stores the original, unprocessed image data from the camera sensor. This allows for unparalleled flexibility in post-processing, enabling adjustments to color balance, exposure, and more.
But that’s not all. The update also enhances the long-focus clarity algorithm from 10x to 13.2x and adds support for four-camera full focal range 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video recording. Oppo’s Product Director @SourDigital stated, “These features are industry-firsts.” The update notes are as follows:
Master mode now supports 50MP RAWMAX (supports focal lengths: 0.6X, 1X, 3X, 6x), providing higher resolution and larger dynamic range, already certified by Adobe Raw
Brand new upgrade to 10x-13.2x long-focus clarity algorithm (QBC algorithm first applied to non-izm points), significantly improving clarity in this focal range
Rear video mode now supports four-camera full focal range 4K 60fps Dolby Vision recording, offering more freedom in focal length changes for easier creation
Optimized smoothness and consistency when switching lenses in video mode, providing smoother zoom transitions
Improved accuracy of subject recognition and facial texture in group photo mode, enhancing the group photo shooting experience
Optimized shutter delay in motion mode, providing more reasonable exposure time and faster continuous shooting response, improving the success rate of capturing moving scenes.
