HKC launches new budget-friendly 27-inch 2K monitor for work and entertainment

has recently launched a new
monitor
, the S2716Q, targeting the budget-conscious user segment. This 27-inch monitor boasts a 2K 60Hz IPS panel, making it a suitable option for everyday tasks like browsing the web, working on documents, and watching videos.
Currently listed on JD.com, the S2716Q carries an introductory price of 599 yuan (approximately $84), which is a steal considering its features. However, this introductory price is only valid for orders placed today; the price will increase to 799 yuan (approximately $112) tomorrow.

Coming to the specs, the S2716Q features a 27-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, delivering sharp and clear visuals. The IPS panel technology offers wide viewing angles of 178 degrees horizontally and vertically, ensuring a consistent viewing experience from different positions. The monitor has a brightness of 250 nits, which is sufficient for most indoor environments.
While the 60Hz refresh rate might not be ideal for gamers seeking a super smooth visual experience, it’s perfectly adequate for everyday use. The monitor supports 8-bit color depth, which translates to a display of 16.7 million colors.
In terms of design, the S2716Q incorporates a three-sided narrow bezel design that minimizes bezels around the screen, creating a more immersive viewing experience. The monitor also supports tilt adjustment for ergonomic positioning and VESA wall mounting for a cleaner desktop setup.
For connectivity, the HKC S2716Q comes equipped with two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DP 1.2 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. This connectivity suite allows users to connect their PCs, laptops, gaming consoles, and other devices to the monitor.
The monitor also incorporates eye care technologies, including flicker-free operation and a blue light filter, making it suitable for extended use without discomfort. Additionally, it has received China Energy Conservation Certification, indicating its energy efficiency.
